PrintingProcesses
1. Flex Print
We use this printing process for individual lettering and for designs without color transitions. A computer-controlled cutting plotter will cut texts and logos out of a special foil. This extremely thin special foil (only 50 µm) will be merged with the textile under constant heat and very high pressure. Even after many washings, the resulting color coating will not lose its brilliance.
2. Digital Printing
The Digital Printing is used for pictures with color transitions, or pictures with more than three colors. The picture is printed onto a special paper from a high-end printing machine, and then transferred onto the product through high pressure and temperature. After the first wash, the picture will lose a bit of its brilliance, but will remain consistent thereafter. This photo printing process can only be used on light colored textiles, the color white will appear transparent. The very faint plastic feel of the picture when you first receive your shirt will disappear with the first wash.
3. Dark Photo Printing
This printing process is similar to the Digital Printing process, however, a different carrier material is used. The imprint consists of a thin, rubber-like layer which combines permanently with the textile fibers during the printing process. This layer is white, and thicker than the transparent layer, and it is not as durable. Please Note: On colored products and polo shirts, we cannot print your graphics without a background. Due to the printing process the background color of your graphic cannot match the color of the product. We highly recommend the Digital Printing process on light colored textiles, as the quality is much better.
